In our show “Passion for Flamenco”, presented and directed by our artistic director Juan Carlos Del Pozo, the finest current artists who make up the Torres Bermejas ensemble take us on a journey through the various flamenco styles — from soleá to seguidilla, through alegrías, concluding with bulerías and sevillanas — all accompanied by flamenco guitar and singing.

TABLAO LA CARMELA

Tablao Flamenco La Carmela is located on Calle Victoria, just a few steps from the central Puerta del Sol. The venue, dedicated to flamenco singing and dance, is set in the former coal cellars of the legendary Taberna La Carmela — now blending traditional cuisine with flamenco under the artistic direction of dancers Juan Andrés Maya and Raquel Martos.
In a cosy vaulted space, Tablao Flamenco La Carmela brings together top-level performers and acclaimed masters of flamenco voice and guitar. With a cast of nine artists in an unforgettable atmosphere, this one-hour show offers a unique flamenco experience in Madrid.

Flamenco de Leones reinterprets the tradition and essence of the Café Cantante, the precursor to today’s tablaos flamencos. Our essence lies in staging popular flamenco shows, where cante, toque and baile are essential. A Café Cantante is reborn amid the bustle of Puerta de Alcalá, where life bursts with alegrías and breaks with bulerías. We reinvent the flamenco experience through gastronomy, music, dance and art.

LAS TABLAS is a young and dynamic flamenco tablao, artist-run. Founded in December 2003 by dancers Antonia Moya and Marisol Navarro, it is committed to showcasing representative, refined, high-quality flamenco featuring top-tier performers.

Our show is alive; every performance is a new experience — as surprising for the audience as for the performers — since everything is created through improvisation. This demands great focus and mutual trust. We are not a conventional company; we are individual artists, each with a unique artistic journey.

LA QUIMERA

We bring the very roots of flamenco to our tablao — the essence of the masters, and of forgotten dances and songs. An old recipe with two essential ingredients: soul and heart, seasoned with the visceral commitment of our artists, without script, without structural composition, guided by improvisation, emotion and feeling.
There is no sound system, no microphones. Our philosophy is to experience art directly.
Our famous “juergas flamencas” (flamenco jam sessions) begin at 1:00 a.m. and continue until 5:00 a.m., in an intimate and improvised setting that revolutionises Madrid’s nightlife. We also offer beginner flamenco classes at weekends, available by advance reservation.
