In our show “Passion for Flamenco”, presented and directed by our artistic director Juan Carlos Del Pozo, the finest current artists who make up the Torres Bermejas ensemble take us on a journey through the different flamenco styles — from soleá to seguidilla, through alegrías, concluding with bulerías and sevillanas — all accompanied by flamenco guitar and singing.

Tablao Flamenco La Carmela is located on Calle Victoria, just steps from the central Puerta del Sol. The venue, devoted to flamenco singing and dancing, is situated in the former coal cellars of the historic Taberna La Carmela — a legendary spot now blending traditional cuisine with flamenco, led by dancers Juan Andrés Maya and Raquel Martos.
In a warm, vaulted setting, Tablao Flamenco La Carmela gathers top-tier artists and renowned masters of flamenco voice and guitar. With a cast of nine performers in an unforgettable atmosphere, this one-hour show offers a unique flamenco experience in Madrid.

LAS TABLAS is a young and dynamic flamenco tablao, run by artists. It was founded in December 2003 by dancers Antonia Moya and Marisol Navarro. The venue is committed to representative, carefully crafted, high-quality flamenco, showcasing top-level artists.

Our show is alive; every performance is a new experience — just as surprising for the audience as for the performers — since it is based on improvisation. This demands great concentration and trust among everyone involved. We are not a conventional company; we are individual artists, each with our own artistic journey.

LA QUIMERA

We bring the roots of flamenco to our tablao — the essence of masterful, forgotten dances and songs. An old recipe with two key ingredients: soul and heart, seasoned with the visceral dedication of our artists, without script or structural composition, guided by improvisation, emotion, and feeling. There is no sound system, no microphones. Our philosophy is to enjoy the art directly.
Also renowned are our “flamenco jam sessions”, from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., in an intimate and improvised setting that transforms Madrid’s nightlife. Additionally, we offer introductory flamenco classes on weekends with advance booking.

Every night, from Monday to Sunday, the tablao presents a show designed for both the most discerning flamenco aficionados and those wishing to discover the art at its highest level. Each performance features top stars in dance, singing and guitar. Corral de la Morería changes its programme every week, showcasing the leading figures of contemporary flamenco, who fill major theatres around the world — but here, you can enjoy them up close, where the energy is truly electrifying.
In addition, as a centre for production and choreographic creation, Corral de la Morería creates original shows with today’s greatest flamenco artists, serving as a venue for their world premieres.
