Are there labels for instruments? Who really determines if an instrument is for flamenco or jazz?
Music as a universal language has accents or dialects. The different styles represent the variety of accents that exist in music when listening to it, interpreting it, and speaking it.
Con Acento XL is the proposal brought to us by Chico Pérez and Sergio de Lope, two first-rate musicians, to create together with the Big Band of the Escuela Creativa de Madrid a synergy that will decode the codes of flamenco and jazz with awareness and determination.
The virtue lies in uniting the musical sense of 18 musicians forming an unrepeatable constellation that shines through the swing and the rhythmic pattern that will mark our path and that of the audience.
With Accent, life is more beautiful!
