MADRID FLAMENCO BIENNIAL 2025

The Madrid Flamenco Biennial is the cultural event that, every two years, for two weeks, will transform the city into a living stage for flamenco where the best and most valuable of this art form will meet with citizens.

Past, present, and future are articulated in this new project around a diverse, changing, and growing Madrid that, like flamenco, remains in constant evolution.

The Madrid Flamenco Biennial 2025 will begin on May 23 and remain in the city until June 6. During this period, the capital will transform into the reference stage for flamenco professionals and enthusiasts from any latitude, creating a fluid dialogue between tradition, present, and future of this art form with a broad and diverse program that highlights our flamenco cultural heritage in the three genres that comprise it: singing, guitar playing, and dancing. The program will address both the multiple aesthetics that construct it today and the multiple preferences of its varied audiences – a program that invites you to enjoy flamenco with all five senses.

Quality, excellence, and diversity in programming and a firm commitment to the territory, its citizens, and visitors, make the Madrid Flamenco Biennial 2025 a distinctive cultural project that provides a new perspective on flamenco and joins the already extensive cultural offerings that make our city a reference hub for culture.
